I don't know why ppl write blogs, I don't even understand, why I am writing this :) Yes, m not kidding, सच्ची. May be, here we find our best friend, someone, who can listen to us, without any expectation, and the best part is, whatever you say to this person, this friend won't leave you :), this person will always be there, ofcourse, as long as you have your internet connection and your PC working :), so you can pour out whatever you have in your mind, to this great system (i would rather say, great Support System), and it accepts, with unmatched patience and without any discontent.
When had i started writing this post, i was feeling surrounded by forces of riddles of life, but now, even before i have moved to the actual content, those forces seems to be weakening, this is the power of this cool friend :).
Today when i sit back and think about the days that i lived.. i don't know, whether to be happy or to be sad. Actually, there are a very few on this planet, who can be happy without being sad. And its only these people who actually tame the life, and live it according to their rules. Happiness and sorrow are like, day and night, sun and rain. Happiness always comes to end, and if we don't accept it, the end of the happiness itself becomes a good reason for being sad.
Its all about our choice, you can chose to be sad, by thinking that those days are no more.. wish they lasted for rest of the life, Or you can chose to be happy, by feeling lucky that we got to live those good days, and try living our present in such a way that we grab similar moments from our future.
The problem is, we expect too much from this small life that God has gifted us, yes, its really very small. If you think about the age of our planet or universe, our life is like a molecule of water in the ocean. And this tiny-miny life is too short to be spent in the bitterness of past, there is so much to do, so much to see, so much to listen, so much to be happy for. One of my friend says.. everything happens for good, and its true actually. Only thing is, we need to have patience to realize it.
I heard a short story in a movie... a person drowning in the ocean, a boat comes to him, but he didn't take its help, saying, he will pray and God will help him... and ofcourse, he dies, and meets God and says.. "I prayed so much, but u didn't help me out of that ocean".. God replied.. "U fool, I sent a boat". So, lets be thankful to God for everything we have in life, for our parents, for our friends, even for those who were with us at some point of time, coz they helped you live n njoy some part of your life.
Great, thats really amazing!!! After this writing m feeling free, those forces have disappeared, life seems simple. Anyways, thanks for reading this stupid post :)

A lot more than my capability.. Both.. personally and professionally.. many new frnds... many new things.. many happy n sad moments with them.. It was like a roller coaster ride.. with lots of ups and downs and full of excitement and even inversions...
Many prominent things happened so fast, as if bullets being fired near my ears...

Education...
In my last post there was a picture of few children operating a computer. That snap reminds me of a degree college in a town (Amethi) near my village. When I went home last time, I came across a big hoarding, screaming out "A New Pharmacy College in Amethi, inaugurated by blah blah blah..." I was happy to see that hoarding, but at the same time I was sad, because I knew the quality and type of education that was provided in that college.
Usually people believe that education is the solution for almost all problems (like unemployment, poverty, population , corruption, racism etc) in our country. I agree that education is necessary to make us more aware and opens up an interface to external world, changes the way we think and a lot more.
But, then why most of the government officers are corrupt? Why there is reservation based on caste or race? Why students travel ticket less in trains buses? Why most of the people involved in any riots are students? Why most of the terrorists are high profile engineers, doctors etc? Why there are teachers involved in sexual harassment of students? Why sex selective abortions are practiced by doctors? Why dowry is still practiced openly and widely in our country? Even though all these people are "well educated", they are involved in things which books never teach. If you think practically, aren't illiterate much better than these?
The problem is the way education system works in our country. People just think of education as a tool to get job and earn money. But actually education is not a way to get something, its a way to transform yourself, to make your life and your surroundings better. Its not just about getting a certificate, its about inculcating the thoughts and culture into yourself and people around you.
Being educated is a way ahead than just knowing reading and writing.

Modern...
I think i am in top of the moods to write another post, so here i go.
I have to purchase a new laptop, so was browsing through the net looking for the best models available. I was looking for a piece thats outstanding in performance, its ok if it doesnt look good as compared to other fancy systems. While searching for the appropriate system, i came through the phrases like "supports modern applications", "runs blah blah modern day OS", "stylish to match the modern world" etc. I came through "modern" word so many times that I was forced to think... "what the hell does one understand by the word modern?"
Now, since I am an IT guy, the most readily available "modern" tool to me is google. I literally searched for "modern" in images section and got pictures like:

Do these images really depict the actual essence of being modern? May be for some of you, but i think the pictures below are more close to modernity

Am I really happy...??
So, here I am with my first blog.
What am i doing.. I have loads of work to do, and am supposed to finish it by tomorrow. If I complete it, I will get lot of appreciation, relaxed weekend, and ofcourse money and may be "happiness". But at this point of time, when all my room mates are fast asleep(3 am), I have got some time for myself. I am not feeling like working at all, neither falling asleep, though my eyes are paining :). But still I am feeling good and happy while writing this post.
So I thought, why not to be blissful now itself by completing this, rather completing my work and then wait for appreciation, money and uncertain happiness.
But do you know, whats real happiness. Ya, of course, you can define it or even if you don't know the exact definition, can get it from internet, dictionary and many other sources. All definitions say that its a some kinda state of mind etc etc. But none of them can tell you the exact reasons, how to attain it. You can find a person living on the road side, laughing and more delighted than the ones staying at present in Hotel Taj.
So you see, money, luxury, status or health are not the deciding factors. Actually it all depends on you, how do you want to see yourself. You can be happy even if you loose everything, and you can be sad, even if you have everything.
Usually we tend to see our past as happiest moments life, but I dont know whats wrong with present. When I was in college, people remembered their school days as their best days of life, now when they are in corporate world, they see their college days as the best. Even there are people who say.. their previous company was much better than current.. blah blah.. Come-on guys, why in this world then you left your last job, or college, or school?
Thinking practically, I dont feel that college days were better than today. Half of the time people used to be in trauma of the WTC incident and IT slow down. Now when somehow all of us got placed, the worries of making money, onsite, competition for promotion, business growth etc, everything have started occupying our minds. Again sadness. Just think, what if we had not got a job (like many other people in our country)? Isnt the current situation much better than before?
The problem is, we always take (personal and professional) challenges in life as reasons for wretchedness. Take them up as challenge, get motivated, fight the conditions, do your best, learn from failures and live the life to its. fullest.
